Common Hot Feed Rubber Strip Hose Pipe Profile Sheet Extruder Machine are one of the most widely used important equipment in the rubber industry. It is mainly used for extrusion molding of tread, inner tube, rubber strip, rubber hose, tape, and other rubber products. It has excellent characteristics such as energy saving, high yield, good plasticization, and low-temperature rubber refining, which expands the application range of the extruder and becomes a new generation of high-efficiency rubber processing equipment.
Rubber extruding machine is widely used in the manufacturing of semi-finished products such as pure rubber hoses, tire tread, inner and outer layers of rubber hoses, and wires and cables. It can also be used for the plasticization of raw rubber, filtering of rubber materials, metal wire coating, and so on.
From the perspective of equipment structure, hot feed extruders generally have a shorter screw and barrel compared to cold feed extruders, with a length to diameter ratio (L/D) of 4-6 and shallow thread grooves.
Advantages of Hot Feed Extruder
Compared to cold feed extruders, hot feed extruders have the following advantages:
1. Improve production efficiency
Compared to cold feed extruders, hot feed extruders can accelerate the melting process of materials and improve production efficiency. Due to the rapid completion of the heating process in the hot feed extruder, production efficiency can be effectively improved.
2. Reduce energy consumption
Because the heating process of the hot feed extruder can be completed quickly, it can reduce energy consumption compared to the cold feed extruder.
3. Improve the physical performance of the product
The products extruded by hot feed extruders have better flexibility compared to cold feed extruders, and the chemical shear of the products is smaller, making it less prone to planetary ripples. Thereby improving the physical performance of the product.
3、 Application of Hot Feed Extruder
Hot feed extruders have a wide range of applications in manufacturing various shapes of plastic and rubber products. Some materials that require heating processing, such as polymer plastics, polymers, rubber, etc., can be further processed through a hot feed extruder.
In summary, compared to cold feed extruders, hot feed extruders have advantages such as higher production efficiency, lower energy consumption, and better product physical properties, and are widely used in the plastic and rubber product processing industry.

Loading Into Container Export
① The machine head should be assembled together and installed as a whole on the extruder.
② Before assembling the machine head, the grease applied during storage should be wiped off, and the surface of the mold cavity should be carefully checked for scratches, scratches, and rust spots. Necessary polishing should be carried out, and then a layer of silicone oil should be applied to the surface of the flow channel.
③ Assemble the various plates of the machine head in sequence, apply high-temperature grease to the threads of the bolts, and then tighten the bolts and flange.
④ Place the porous plate between the machine head flanges to ensure that it is tightly pressed without overflowing.
⑤ Before tightening the fastening bolts of the connecting flange between the machine head and the extruder, the horizontal position of the mouth mold should be adjusted. The square machine head can be horizontally adjusted, while the circular machine head should be leveled with the bottom surface of the machine head mouth mold based on the fixed model adhesive surface.
⑥ Tighten the connecting flange bolts, tighten the machine head fastening bolts, install the heating ring and thermocouple, and ensure that the heating ring is tightly attached to the outer surface of the machine head.
⑦ Install the set sleeve and adjust it in place. Check if the center line of the host, set sleeve, and traction machine is aligned. After adjustment, tighten the fixing bolts. Connect all water pipes and vacuum pipes of the set sleeve.
⑧ Turn on the heating power and evenly heat the machine head and machine casing. At the same time, open the cooling water at the bottom of the feeding hopper and the gearbox, as well as the inlet valve of the exhaust vacuum pump. When heating, adjust the temperature of each section to 140 ℃ first, and hold it for 30-40 minutes when the temperature rises to 140 ℃. Then, raise the temperature to the normal production temperature.
